Leadership Curriculum

Goal: Provide leadership education for emerging physician leaders sponsored by HonorHealth Academic Affairs and the Women Physicians Leadership Council.

Learners: Early Career Physicians, Physicians considering leadership opportunities , Chief / Senior residents

Description: The Leadership Program will be a six-month hybrid learning experience designed for the new HonorHealth leader moving from the individual practitioner to a physician leader.

Proposed Timeline:

Call for applications: May 2022

Review Candidates: July/August 2022 (spots limited)

Welcome/Orientation / Session 1 Begins : October 12, 2022 (in person)

Session 2 : November 9, 2022 (online)

Session 3 : December 14, 2022 (online)

Session 4 : January 11, 2023 (in person)

Session 5 : February 8, 2023 (online)

Session 6 / Graduation: March 8, 2023 (live)

6.This course will require participation in 3 live educational sessions 90 minutes, live "open mic" 3:30 PM until 5 PM held at HonorHealth Osborn Medical Center (Neuroscience Institute) then at least 2 hours per month of asynchronous learning including reading and responding to others in the course. Please describe how you will ensure that you will be able to attend the sessions and have time to participate with the online learning. (300 words or less)(Required.)
